Conductive Education was first developed in Budapest, Hungary, in 1940 by a physician, Professor Andras Peto. He developed the concept of defective motor learning difficulties and help with emphasis on those who are disabled to learn Motors, to help themselves. He founded the National Institute of Conductive Education in Budapest motor disabilities. This work provided most of the children suffer spina bifida, flexibility, and ataxia, but also in adult patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). The main goal of therapy is to achieve “orthofunction” or independent functioning in daily life.
